Bey Lea Municipal Golf Course first opened for play in 1969.The course was designed by Hal C. Purdy.

The course has 18 sets of tee boxes.The longest hole on the course is the par-5 530 yards number 7. The shortest hole on the course is the par-3  142 yard number 17.<p> Watch out for number 7 a par-5 530 yard challenge. This is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The par-3 182 yard number 12 is considered to be the easiest hole on the course.
